Dear members of the Korean Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology,
Greetings.

Dear members of the Korean Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, Greetings.

  • Our society began in 2009 with the KSVO founding meeting and established the foundation for standardized clinical veterinary ophthalmology and basic research through our inaugural general assembly and seminar in 2010.
  • In 2011, our society led the establishment of the Asian Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (AiSVO/AiCVO), and we have been participating in annual academic conferences. Since 2017, we have been hosting the Korea-Japan Joint Case Conference annually, alternating between Korea and Japan, introducing the latest trends in international veterinary ophthalmology to advance domestic clinical practices and research.
  • Each year, through the general assembly and seminars, we monitor the current state of ophthalmology in Korea and rapidly share clinical ophthalmology information that can be utilized in general hospitals.
  • We are also committed to establishing a new paradigm for Korean veterinary ophthalmology through basic research and the training of certified ophthalmologists.
  • We ask for your full support and encouragement, especially from those who are interested in clinical and research aspects of veterinary ophthalmology.
